Slash Wraps Up As-Yet-Untitled Record
Ex-Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash is expected to turn in his as-yet-untitled sophomore solo effort to Interscope Records on Friday (Nov. 19), according to the guitarist's manager, Tom Maher.

The new album is the first since the release of Slash's Snakepit's It's Five O'Clock Somewhere in 1995, which the guitarist recorded in the midst of waiting for Guns N' Roses to regroup (which, in that format, they never did). Legendary producer Jack Douglas (Aerosmith, Alice Cooper) manned the production controls while Slash's new band, singer Rod Jackson, guitarist Ryan Roxie, bassist Johnny Griparic, and drummer Matt Laug, back the guitarist. The latest effort from Slash should hit the streets sometime in early March, 2000.

In related news, there is a possibility that Slash could contribute to Michael Jackson's upcoming album now that his own record has wrapped. Both parties are interested (Slash appeared on Jackson's last effort, 1992's Dangerous, as well as on stage with the singer in the past), according to Maher, but nothing yet has been firmed up.
